Stuff and Nonsense

I got caught up on my paper grading the other evening (which I've already fallen behind on again) so with four free hours staring me in the face I had a few "options" for what to do with my free time including:
A. Fold Laundry
B. Clean House
C. Do Dishes
D. Knit
E. Start new project totally unrelated to anything else I've been up to lately and make a big ole mess while doing so.
(guess which one I picked?)
Took the fam to church this weekend too. This was a largely pointless endeavor on my part as Fud got it into his head that he was just going to cry for no apparent reason and Peanut the Weenut decided he would nurse throughout the entire service so, I got nuthin' out of being there other than sitting in the nursery. Wait! That's only partially true. I DID manage to get this stunning photographic composition where:
1. Fud looks like his frontal lobe has just been removed
2. PoKaL is doing his best "future drag queen" pose AND has sprouted a torchiere from the top of his head
3. Oddly, DH looks really nice in this pic--bringing my grand total of good pictures (where he isn't making a stupid face) up to 3.

You'll notice PoKaL is holding a stuffed brown bear. He had custody of this bear over the weekend. We (that means me) had to journal everything we did with the bear and provide photographic evidence that the bear was well cared for and had fun over the weekend. In addition to this, PoKaL is also the "star of the week" at school. This entails making a big poster, bringing a bunch of stuff into school which will be left there until we forget that we ever owned the items, and--naturally--the obligatory cupcakes. I'll try not to repeat the cupcake catastrophe of Fud's birthday cupcakes.

Anyone play World of Warcraft? Peanut the Weenut got this from his aunt and uncle out west. I think it's ultra-super cute--especially paired with his amazing knitted pants (no false modesty here folks). PtW spends a lot of time doing that baby big smile thing. I love it. Although, I find it odd that babies look cute with no teeth but adults just look strange if they have no teeth. Perhaps the cubby baby cheeks is what makes the whole look work so well.
